"It's like a concert tour, but with sketchbooks"- An art project open to anyone and everyone across the world. You order a sketchbook, from the website, choose a theme and the type of moleskin.. The only rules are to not alter the dimensions or hand back an empty book. You can do what you like. You return it back to The Brooklyn Art Gallery where it will be archived and you can keep track at how many people have looked at it.
Over the past years they've received books from renowned artists to mothers and their kids. You also choose a price to sell it at. Some are $5 some are $1,000,000.
The point of the project is to express the creativity within people which otherwise is a wasted energy. I think it's a great way of building community and briefly taking the mind off the current failing climate.

Wow, what an excellent idea. I love how there are no boundaries and absolutely anyone can be involved. A great way to be imaginative!
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing! I love the concept, and how the project enables anyone to show their work to the public.
